Veteran Nollywood actor Browny Igboegwu has taken to social media to express his frustration with the pervasive hypocrisy within the Nigerian film industry.
In an impassioned post, Igboegwu criticized the inconsistent behavior of his colleagues, who often speak ill of others only to later offer praise and admiration. He called for greater authenticity and more genuine relationships in the industry, urging his fellow actors to either give sincere compliments or remain silent.
The actor also voiced concerns about the prevalence of fake affection, shallow connections, and performative acts in the Nollywood community.
Browny Igboegwu further warned that he would cut ties with any colleagues found to be backstabbers, emphasizing his commitment to integrity and honesty in both his personal and professional life.
