Veteran Nollywood actor Charles Inojie has voiced his concerns following the tragic report of a woman allegedly taking her own life after her video with Baltazar Ebang Engonga, Equatorial Guinea’s Director General of the National Financial Investigation Agency, was leaked online. Baltazar recently made headlines when authorities found over 400 explicit videos involving him with various women, discovered during a raid in connection with corruption allegations.
The videos went viral, sparking intense reactions due to their content and the numerous women involved. In one distressing video, a crowd gathers around the woman who reportedly took her own life, mourning the tragic loss following the public exposure of her private life.
Reacting to this heartbreaking incident, Charles Inojie took to social media, urging that the women involved in the videos receive support and monitoring. He emphasized the need for mental health resources, particularly for those affected by the scandal, to prevent further tragedies.
He wrote:
“They should keep all the other women in close watch pls.”
