Nollywood actress Esther Kalajaye recently announced that she has obtained dual citizenship, sharing her excitement with fans on Instagram. In a post from the airport, she proudly displayed her two passports, flashing a radiant smile for the camera.
In her caption, she playfully referred to herself as a “fly girl,” adding a love emoji to convey her happiness. In the photos, Kalajaye made sure her Canadian passport was prominently visible, holding it in front while posing. She also made a point to position the passports with the Canadian one on top when resting them on her luggage.
This milestone follows a trend in the Nigerian film industry, with other actors like Tawa Ajisefini, who revealed her American citizenship, and Ashabi Olorisa, who obtained dual citizenship earlier this year.
