After the commotion at the MTV VMAs, singer Cardi B defends Tyla.

Tyla has been in the spotlight since her song “Water” became viral globally. She has garnered numerous prizes, including a Grammy, a BET Award, and, most recently, an MTV Video Music Award. Following her remarks, she received anger from many Americans online.

Cardi B, known for her popular song Bongos, defended Tyla on X (previously Twitter) amid the social media abuse. Some people thought Tyla was impolite to Halle Bailey when she requested her to hold the prize. Cardi emphasised that Tyla asked Lil Nas X to hold it since he is a man.
