Asake’s inaugural sold-out performance at the O2 took place in 2023, coinciding with the launch of his second album, ‘Work of Art,’ and marking a significant moment in his ascent on the global stage.

The O2 Arena has played a pivotal role in showcasing the international success of Afrobeats. Davido became the first Nigerian solo artist to headline at the venue in 2018, followed by Wizkid in 2019. Wizkid’s remarkable three-night run at the O2 in 2021 further solidified the genre’s global appeal and the artists’ impact on the music scene.
