Ayra Starr set to take the stage at the CANEX WKND concert in Algeria.

Renowned Nigerian singer Ayra Starr and South African DJ Maphorisa are slated to perform at the 2024 Creative Africa Nexus Weekend (CANEX WKND) concert.

This year’s CANEX WKND is scheduled to take place from October 16 to 19, 2024, in Algiers, Algeria.

The CANEX WKND event serves as a leading platform celebrating Africa’s creative and cultural industries.

Other performers include Kenyan singer Sofiya Nzau, Tinariwen – a Tuareg music group from the Sahara region in southern Algeria, as well as South Africa’s Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa.

According to Bmmblog, Ayra Starr rose to global fame following the release of her 2021 hit song ‘Bloody Samaritan.’
