Nigerian superstar Burna Boy, born Damini Ogulu, has set a groundbreaking record as the first African artist to earn Grammy nominations for six consecutive years. Since 2018, the African Giant singer has consistently secured Grammy nods, an extraordinary achievement in the African music scene. With 11 nominations and one win to date, Burna Boy continues to represent African music on the global stage.

This year, his hit single Higher is nominated for Best African Music Performance at the Grammys, adding to his impressive streak and reaffirming his influence and impact in music both within and beyond Africa.
