Afrobeat icon Davido Adeleke fulfilled a fan’s request by giving her a complete basketball gear set from PUMA.
Jadesola, a fan, contacted him on social media with a sincere request.
In her message, she expressed her desire to model for Davido’s PUMA basketball collection, highlighting her passion for the sport.
Jadesola, who plays shooting guard and small forward for the Dolphins Women’s Basketball Club in Lagos, said she met the musician at the 2021 GOA event and they took photos together.
In her emotional plea, Jadesola wrote:
“Dear David, I’m shooting this shot in hope that you see this and help my life by letting me model for your PUMA basketball/sport collection. This will mean the world to me and my family.”
Davido acknowledged Jadesola’s passion for basketball on Thursday and expressed his encouragement.
He assured her that a full PUMA gear set, including shoes and outfits, was on the way to keep her performing well.
“Hey Jade, thanks for showing love and your passion for basketball!” Davido wrote on social media.
“Your PUMA gear is on the way! Shoes, clothes, everything you need to keep ballin’. Merry Christmas from me, PUMA Nigeria, and all of 30BG!”
The singer’s sweet gesture has brought joy to Jadesola and her family, who are excitedly waiting for her PUMA gear to be delivered.
