Funke Akindele, a popular Nigerian actress and filmmaker, is preparing for the premiere of her new movie Everybody Loves Jenifa. The film, featuring a stellar cast, has been generating a lot of buzz with its promotional campaigns.
However, a social media user, Ozie Sparkles, questioned the level of excitement surrounding the project, suggesting the promotion might be excessive. In response, Funke humorously advised her to simply relax at home.
The upcoming movie has created significant anticipation, with fans eager to see what the filmmaker has in store after her previous successes.
Ozie continued her critique by addressing Funke’s English, correcting her spelling of ‘sit’ to ‘seat’. She also said that Funke’s scripts didn’t use proper English.
This upset some fans, who wondered why Ozie was correcting someone with more success than her.
