Nollywood actress Omoni Oboli recently reintroduced herself to her followers on Instagram with an enthusiastic post.
In her message, she confidently claimed that she has produced the finest film to come out of Nigeria. Her movie, The Uprising, is currently generating substantial attention in cinemas across Nigeria.
She wrote:
“Allow me to reintroduce myself! My name is OMONI OBOLI (OMoney) Strong woman, wife, mother, grandmother, filmmaker, etc, and I made THE BEST MOVIE out of Nigeria without a doubt!
The thing that has given me the most joy about the release of THE UPRISING is that we have no mid-reviews! At this point, if you haven’t gone out to watch it in Nigeria, Canada, the UK, or Francophone Africa, you are missing the most impactful and intriguing movie you’ll see this year. Yes, I said it!
My goodness! My sons couldn’t stop talking when we got home! They said they couldn’t even compare it to other Nollywood movies, so they were comparing it to Hollywood!
My sons were brought up watching movies, and their taste in movies is very high, but for over 2 hours, they dissected THE UPRISING and gave it 10/10. My joy is complete! I am satisfied!
