May Edochie, the former wife of actor Yul Edochie, recently opened up about her decision to turn down movie roles, even when the offers are lucrative.
According to BrightModredBlog, May made her Nollywood debut in Omoni Oboli’s film Uprising, which was released last month. In an exclusive interview, she revealed that she had declined generous offers from several prominent Nollywood filmmakers.
While discussing her reasons for passing on attractive movie roles, May emphasized her ability to handle various types of work. Interestingly, she admitted that she nearly declined Omoni Oboli’s offer to act in Uprising before ultimately deciding to take part in the film.
“For the past two years, I’ve received scripts, movie roles, and mouth-watering offers, but I rejected everything”, May Edochie stated.
Speaking further about her versatility, May Edochie said, “‘I’m a master of all trades, and there’s a whole lot I can do if I put my mind to it”.
