American R&B artist Solána Imani Rowe, popularly known as SZA, recently shared her unusual desire to embody a bug. The singer expressed feeling tired of not being a bug, a unique aspiration that inspired her to create bug prosthetics for her recent appearance on the Hot Ones podcast.
SZA’s quirky revelation adds a playful touch to her already distinct persona, showcasing her creativity and out-of-the-box thinking.
“No other reason, I’m just tired of being… not a bug,” she said of her choice of costume.
The four-time Grammy Award winner conveyed that she derives a greater sense of achievement from the songs that have come from her struggles.
“I have a harder time enjoying anything if I don’t suffer for it. ‘Nobody Gets Me’ is my goal of like, ‘I can make a ballad’… And then they’re like, ‘This other song that took you 3 seconds to write as a joke, is [doing well].’ I guess I just need—Suffering adds value, always,” SZA expressed.
