Jada Pollock, who is expecting her third child with famous artist Wizkid, has addressed the label of “baby mama” that has been placed on her.
In a recent interview with BET UK, the talent manager highlighted her dissatisfaction with the impression of her identity. She described how, following Wizkid’s Grammy triumph, she published a statement congratulating Afrobeat on its growth, only to be referred to as “Wizkid’s baby mama” by several blogs.
Jada underlined that such titles undervalue her accomplishments and fail to recognize her as a committed businesswoman and business professional.
She stated that her responsibility goes beyond motherhood; she is also a manager who has played an important role in leaving a lasting legacy.
“When Wizkid won a Grammy, I issued a statement about how far afrobeat has come.” They released the statement, with the phrase “Wizkid baby mama.” You are an entrepreneur and a hardworking businesswoman, thus the narrative is not visible. I’m not only a mother, but also a manager, and I’ve helped to create a legacy.”
