Veteran Nollywood actors Fausat Balogun, popularly known as Madam Saje, and Kanayo O. Kanayo are set to receive prestigious ‘Lifetime Achievement’ awards at the 2024 Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards. The announcement was made by BON Awards founder Seun Oloketuyi, who emphasized the importance of recognizing these legends while they are still alive.
Oloketuyi expressed that Madam Saje and Kanayo O. Kanayo have greatly inspired both past and present generations of actors and have continued to make a significant impact in the Nigerian film industry. The awards will be presented on November 24, 2024, at the Sugar Factory Film Studios in Ilorin, Kwara State.
Previous recipients of the BON Lifetime Achievement Award include notable figures like Toyin Adegbola, Madam Kofo, and Adebayo Salami.
