An old video of veteran actor Olu Jacobs has surfaced online, and it has moved viewers’ hearts.
In the video, Adesope Shopsydoo of Factory 78 interviews the father of two on his acting career and the film industry in general.
According to the man, who turned 82 this year, he found fulfilment in acting. Jacobs remarked that acting is his entire existence.
Olu Jacobs also declared that he will continue to perform till he loses all of his strength.
Olu Jacobs also spoke highly of the film industry throughout the recording. He explained that formerly, everything was measured against what the Europeans had accomplished, but now many people applaud the milestone that Nigerian cinema has reached.
The famed actor, who was thought to have died months ago, also remarked that Nollywood had reversed the narrative of never doing well.
According to him, only intellectual individuals can act since they must interpret written roles and make them come to life.
The actor went on to remark that only such individuals could now perform on stage.
