Nigerian TikTok personality Peller has reportedly attracted the attention of the FBI following claims about his past involvement in “yahoo-yahoo” (internet fraud). The revelation came from controversial investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo, who shared an audio post on her social media, citing an alleged FBI source that linked Peller to cybercrime activities.

Olunloyo pointed out that during a TikTok live session, Peller had admitted to engaging in internet fraud before shifting to a legal career as a content creator. She advised the 19-year-old to be cautious with his public statements, warning that such admissions could lead to legal consequences.

Her comments also drew a comparison to the case of Hushpuppi, the Nigerian influencer who is currently serving a prison sentence in the U.S. for his involvement in cybercrime. Olunloyo’s post has generated significant online attention, with many expressing concern over the potential legal ramifications for Peller.

“If you know Peller, pls tell him to SFTU. He is about to single-handedly ruin his own future,” Olunloyo cautioned, noting the increasing scrutiny on influencers suspected of online fraud.

Kemi Olunloyo’s claim has ignited a flurry of reactions across social media, with many users dismissing it as just another “cock and bull story” from the journalist.

Others, however, have highlighted the serious implications if the allegation proves true, underscoring the potentially devastating consequences of such a claim.
