Renowned rapper Odumodublvck has revealed how WizKid played a pivotal role in shaping his music career during a difficult period when he was hospitalized. He also shed light on his positive relationship with Davido.
Odumodublvck shared that while he was in a hospital bed in Abuja, WizKid’s public endorsement of his hit song Declan Rice profoundly changed his life and that of his family. Despite not being featured on WizKid’s album Morayo, a decision that sparked criticism from some fans, he expressed deep gratitude, affirming he would never speak against someone who supported him during a critical time.
On his connection with Davido, he acknowledged the DMW boss’s consistent support over the years. The rapper dismissed any attempts to create rivalry between him and the Afrobeats heavyweights, emphasizing that such efforts would never succeed.
His words read …
“ABEG. MAKE UNA LEAVE ME
I WAS ON MY SICK BED IN ABUJA
I ALMOST LOST MY LIFE.
ONLY TO WAKE UP AND SEE THAT WIZKID POSTED DECLAN RICE.
IT WAS THE BEGINNING OF SOMETHING NEW FOR ME AND MY FAMILY.
I CANNOT PUT INTO WORDS HOW I FELT.
I HAVE NEVER BEEN THE ONE TO BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS ME AND I WILL NEVER BE THAT PERSON.
NEVER. #MORAYO
MOVING ON TO THOSE THAT ARE TRYING TO PUT ME AGAINST DAVID
I HAVE LOST COUNT OF HOW MANY FAVOURS AND HOW MANY THINGS HE HAS DONE FOR NOT JUST ME
BUT FOR MY ENTIRE FAMILY AND MY GANG.
AND HE IS STILL DOING MORE THAN I CAN EVEN USE MY MOUTH TO EXPLAIN.
YOU PEOPLE WILL NOT SUCCEED.
