A new list has surfaced showcasing Nigerian artists who have reached one billion global streams. The list features four male artists and one female artist. The standout female artist is Ayra Starr, who is the only woman on the list and also the first female singer to achieve this milestone. Her hit song “Rush” is credited with contributing to her total streams.
Among the top male artists are Burna Boy, with his song “Last Last,” Wizkid with “Essence,” and Ckay, whose track “Love Nwantiti” continues to soar. Additionally, a recent concert in Benin featured an artist whose hit song “Calm Down” has also hit the one-billion-streams mark.
Fans were shocked to see the list and questioned why Davido was left out.
