Senator Elisha Abbo of Adamawa North has issued a legal threat against Wange David following her allegations accusing him of creating sex tapes with her.
In a recent interview, David claimed that she had made 32 sex tapes with Abbo and accused him of leaking one of the videos online, stating that he was the only person with access to the footage.
Abbo has strongly denied these accusations. His lawyer, Odiyowvi Osusu, responded to the claims, stating that David’s allegations have caused significant damage to Abbo’s personal and professional reputation, while also misleading the public.
The legal notice highlighted that the video in question was shared on the “Naija Police: U” platform on September 4, 2024, with an interview following on TrustTV News via YouTube the next day.
Osusu has demanded that David publicly retract her statements and issue an apology within 72 hours. The retraction is required to be aired on national television and published in three leading newspapers, with approval of the content from Abbo’s legal team.
Additionally, the retraction must be shared across the same platforms where the initial allegations were made.
If David fails to comply within the given timeframe, Abbo plans to pursue a libel lawsuit, seeking an injunction to prevent further dissemination of the allegations, along with a court-ordered public apology and retraction.
The letter warns that if no satisfactory response is received, legal proceedings will be initiated against David.
