Seun Kuti shows outrage and asks why footballers earn more than other occupations.

Afrobeats artist Seun Kuti ignited debate when he asked why players made millions but critical labourers make considerably less.

He emphasised that during the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020, civilisation survived without players, but key professionals were critical in keeping everyone safe.

Seun believes that athletes’ large incomes are unreasonable, especially considering how many young boys in his town play football for free.

“Football players make millions of dollars each week by chasing balls around the pitch. Why should sportsmen get paid more than nurses and doctors? It’s not fair,” Seun stated.
