A retired tornado chaser Kate Cooper who also doubles as a Meteorology grad student gets asked to come back to chasing tornado by her Friend, Javi, to get a ground breaking new tracking system.
Kate, who once had an impeccable intuition about storms agrees to join the team. Another team member is Tyler Owens, a charming but reckless social media superstar who thrives on posting his storm-chasing adventures.
Tyler is instantly intrigued by Kate as the two teams race to chase the increasingly devastating tornadoes.
