Contestant Chinwe from Big Brother Naija Season 9 has disclosed the reason behind the continuous argument she has with Zion, her companion and boyfriend on the program.
According to Bmmblog, Chinwe and Zion, who have been dating for five months, have been at odds since Thursday when the former accused the latter of shoving her “under the bus” in order to appease the other housemates.
Chinwe has been threatening to leave the program since their dispute.
In an interview with DJ Flo, Chinwe revealed that her problem with Zion began when he threatened to end their relationship if she didn’t provide an apology to Chizoba, the person she had an argument with earlier on Thursday.
“This is not the first time Zion would be making fun of me,” she remarked. I’m not sure what kind of person he’s attempting to present to others, but it’s messed up in my eyes.
“I defended myself against that attack, so why do I have to go apologise to the person who insulted me?
“And as soon as I tell him I won’t be doing it, he keeps his face on. For what purpose? Is he suggesting that if I don’t comply with his immature outbursts, he would take advantage of my sentiments and emotions by acting foolishly towards me? It’s not finished.
When it comes to anything, I like to remain calm and prioritise my mental well-being above everything else. I refuse to give it up for anyone. So screw everything we’ve come for if this is the emotional roller coaster he’s going to put me on. Let’s f*cking go home if we can’t work as a team.
“Let’s head back home, my family is here to look out for me.” At least five times a day, I talk to my dad. My father doesn’t let me play, so I’m done with being used by one guy, one n*gga, to do this kind of crap.
“I wouldn’t pretend to be someone I’m not. If that’s the picture he wants to paint, then let’s just go home and I live my life and you live yours.
“It’s not possible for me to stay with a guy who constantly throws me under the bus. A straightforward “I won’t do that,” followed by “He’s carrying face for me,” So I should be pleading with him all the time?
“He’s saying that once we move here, it’s over between the two of us, so let’s go and pack our bags.” He’s threatening to break up with me, me? with separation? Let’s split up then; I won’t do this again.
