Opeyemi Famakin, a popular cuisine critic, has moved to social media to condemn entertainment entrepreneur Cubana Chiefpriest for allegedly threatening his life.
According to Bmmblog, Famakin left a review online after visiting Cubana Chiefpriestâs restaurant in Imo State on September 11, 2024.
In an Instagram post, Famakin commended the restaurantâs ambiance and aesthetics, but pointed out that the pastries should not have been pre-made and microwaved.
In response, Cubana Chiefpriest came to the comment area and showed gratitude to the food critic for visiting his restaurant, stating, âThank you for coming, Foodie. Wishing you the best!â
However, things changed on Thursday, September 12, 2024, when Famakin accused Chiefpriest of threatening him with the evaluation.
To back up his claim, he shared screenshots of their talks.
In the screenshot, Chiefpriest commented, âKarma is real; you must pay for what you sow in life.â I do not fight lowlifes; I leave them to karma. âThe business you did your wicked review for is owned by a 6-year-old.â
Famakin captioned the screenshot, urging the people to hold Chiefpriest accountable if anything happens to him.
He wrote, âI recognise a threat when I see one. I suppose it is time to leave Imo State as soon as possible. If anything happens to me while I am here, you know who to contact. I appreciate how courteous he was in the public comment section, but he took a different tone in my direct messages.â
