Tems has earned another RIAA Platinum plaque.
Her song âFound,â featuring Brent Faiyaz, has officially sold one million copies in the US, securing the prestigious award.
The track is part of her second EP, If Orange Was A Place, which was released in 2021.
âFoundâ gained significant popularity after Tems skyrocketed to fame with her breakout performance on Wizkidâs global hit âEssence.â

âFoundâ has surpassed 119 million streams on Spotify, making it one of her most listened-to tracks.
With her latest honors, Tems now has 3 platinum certifications for âWait For Uâ featuring Future, âFree Mind,â and âFound.â She also achieved RIAA gold certifications for her song âHigher,â which made it onto the Billboard Hot 100, and for her EP âFor Broken Ears.â
This accomplishment makes her the first Nigerian female artist with an RIAA gold-certified album. Tems joins Rema and Wizkid as the only Nigerian artists with RIAA-certified projects, including Wizkidâs âMade In Lagosâ and Remaâs âRaves & Roses,â both of which are also RIAA gold-certified.
