The 45th Miss Nigeria beauty pageant was held in Lagos on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Victoria Island. Doris Esiokhayamhe Ogah claimed the title.
She is a lawyer and model who has represented the South-South region. The eventâs theme was âBeyond Beauty: Reigning Together as Queens.â
A total of 45 participants entered the competition, with 20 advancing to the semi-finals and 10 finalists picked to compete for the title.
The 44th Miss Nigeria, Shatu Garko, congratulated her successor, Ogah, and asked her to use her reign to promote humanity.
Mo Abudu, a well-known figure in entertainment, presided over the panel of judges, which comprised designer Mai Atafo, actress Kate Henshaw, photographer Kelechi Amadi-Obi, actress Ini Edo, TV host Michelle Dede, and former Miss Nigeria, Ezinne Akudo Anyaoha.
